Build a blanket fort

Preparation steps:

• Choose a location. You'll want to build your fort in a spot where you can comfortably fit a few blankets and pillows. If you have a couch or chairs in the room, you can drape the blankets over them to create more of a fort-like feel. Just make sure there are no sharp edges that could hurt anyone.
• Gather your materials. In addition to blankets, you'll need some pillows, clothespins, and string or twine.
• Spread out a few blankets on the floor and pile the pillows in the middle. Then, drape the remaining blankets over the pillows to create the walls of your fort.
• Start building! Get creative with how you drape the blankets over the furniture. You can create tunnels, rooms, or just a simple fort. Just make sure that the blankets are securely fastened so that they don't collapse on you during the movie!
• Now it's time to get cozy! Turn off the lights and settle in with your favorite movies and some snacks. Don't forget the marshmallows for making s'mores!
