- Step into a world where you and your partner are the latest students at the infamous Hope's Peak Academy, assigned to the class of Ultimate Detectives. The evening begins with you both receiving a mysterious letter, detailing a fake murder case in your house that replicates the thrilling, high-stakes environment akin to the Danganronpa series.
- The case: a valuable item has gone missing, and it's up to you two to crack the case. Scatter around some 'evidence' and red herrings, and use your investigative skills to piece together the clues. One of you plays the lead detective, while the other acts as the assistant, sprightly presenting random 'gacha' capsules that may contain valuable hints or playful distractions.
- After intense investigating, playful interrogations, and examining all the gacha clues, deduce the culprit (which, in your case, can be an amusing inanimate object like a stuffed bear inspired by Monokuma). Once the case is solved, reward yourselves with a victory celebration that only the Ultimate Detectives could merit.
