The Outbreak
You and your partner, Dr. Emma, are scientists on a mission to contain a deadly outbreak in a remote laboratory. The Infection Goo virus spreads through skin contact and you must work together to find a cure, contain the virus, and escape the lab before it's too late.
- You and your partner are a team of scientists on a mission to contain a deadly outbreak in a remote laboratory. The virus, known as the 'Infection Goo', is highly contagious and spreads through skin contact. One wrong move, and you'll be infected, transforming into a grotesque monster, craving human flesh.
- As you venture deeper into the lab, you notice strange occurrences: equipment malfunctioning, eerie noises, and an unsettling feeling of being watched. Your partner, Dr. Emma, has gone to retrieve a crucial sample, but she's taking too long. You start to feel anxious, wondering if she's okay.
- Suddenly, you hear a faint cry for help. You rush to the sample room, only to find Dr. Emma frantically trying to clean a gash on her arm. She warns you to stay back, fearing she's already infected. But it's too late, the goo begins to spread, and you must decide: do you risk your life to save hers, or do you quarantine her to prevent the outbreak from spreading?
- As the tension builds, you realize you have limited time to act. The lab is filling with the eerie, green glow of the Infection Goo. You must work together to find a cure, contain the virus, and escape the lab before it's too late.
- But beware, the longer you're in close proximity, the higher the risk of infection. Will you be able to contain the outbreak, or will you succumb to the monster within?
Preparation steps:
- Transform your bedroom into the lab by draping black sheets or tarps over furniture, and adding dim, red lighting to create an eerie atmosphere. Use fake blood and green slime to create the Infection Goo.
- Dress in lab coats and gloves to get into character. You can also use makeup to create a more realistic, infected look for when the time comes.
- Prepare a 'sample' of the Infection Goo using a mixture of water, food coloring, and glue. This will add a tactile element to the roleplay, making it feel more real.

Some tips:
- To increase the sense of urgency, set a timer for a certain amount of time, and challenge yourselves to contain the outbreak before it goes off.
- Use your senses to heighten the experience. For example, you can use a fog machine to create a misty atmosphere, or play eerie sound effects in the background.
- Remember to stay in character and react accordingly. If your partner gets 'infected', respond with concern and urgency, and don't break character even if it gets intense.
Dialogue ideas:
- Emma, baby, I can see it spreading. We have to act fast, or we'll both be monsters soon. Hold on, I'm going to try and find something to stop it.
- Emma, my love, I'm coming for you. I'll take my chances, I have to try and save you. Please don't give up!
- Don't you dare give up, Emma! I'm not going to lose you to this damn virus! We're going to fight this, together, no matter what!
- Oh God, Emma, don't touch me! I don't want to risk getting infected too!
- Get away from me, Emma! I need to think, I need to find a way to save you without putting myself in danger.
