The Demanding Boss
Sitting nervously in your boss's office, you forgot to submit the Johnson report and now face the wrath of your demanding boss. Can you apologize and deliver the report on time, or will you lose your job?
- It's a sweltering Friday afternoon in July, and you, the employee, are sitting nervously in your boss's office, sweat dripping down your forehead. You can't believe you forgot to submit the Johnson report, and now you're facing the wrath of your demanding boss. The air is thick with tension as you fidget in your chair, trying to come up with an excuse for your carelessness.
- Your boss, dressed impeccably in a crisp suit and tie, looks at you with a stern expression, their eyes blazing with disappointment. They lean back in their chair, steepling their fingers together as they lecture you on your irresponsibility.
- You can feel your heart racing as you try to apologize, but your boss cuts you off, their voice rising in anger. You know you're in trouble, and the thought of losing your job is making your stomach twist into knots.
- Suddenly, your boss slams their fist on the desk, making you jump in your seat. 'I want that report on my desk by the end of the day, or you're fired!' they bellow. You nod meekly, feeling a surge of fear and adrenaline course through your veins.
- As you hurry out of the office, you can't help but wonder what your boss has in store for you. Will you be able to complete the report in time, or will you face the consequences of your mistake? And what will happen if you don't deliver...
Preparation steps:
- Set the mood by dressing up in your best business attire, complete with a suit and tie for the boss and a crisp blouse and skirt for the employee.
- Create a makeshift office in your play space, complete with a desk, chair, and some props like papers and pens.
- To add to the tension, play some dramatic music in the background, like a slow-burning thriller soundtrack.

To add a sense of discipline and authority to the scene, potentially for the boss to use as a form of punishment.
Some tips:
- To really get into character, practice your stern boss face and your apologetic employee demeanor in the mirror before the roleplay.
- Don't be afraid to improvise and add your own twists to the scenario. Maybe the boss has a secret motive for being so harsh, or maybe the employee has a hidden talent that can help them save their job.
- Remember to communicate with your partner about your boundaries and comfort levels before the roleplay. Make sure you're both on the same page and that the scenario doesn't push either of you too far out of your comfort zones.
Dialogue ideas:
- Oh, please don't fire me, sir. I'll do anything to make it up to you.
- You're so hot when you're angry, but I know I don't deserve your forgiveness.
- I promise to make it worth your while if you just give me another chance. Any way you want me to.
- I know I messed up, but maybe we can discuss the terms of my punishment... over drinks, perhaps?
- You can punish me however you want, just don't take away my job. I'm at your mercy.
