Some tips:
- To make the night more fun, choose movies that have good pace and many jump scares. Insidious, The Conjuring, Evil Dead II and Drag Me To Hell are good options. Your date will jump into your arms with these!
- If your partner isn’t really into very scary films, try more comedic films such as Zombieland or Cabin in the Woods. They’re still really good and will give you a reason to embrace your partner.
- To make the date even more special, you can print out movie posters and tickets for your date. Put up the poster on the walls and give your date a ticket. It will leave you with memorabilia of the special day.
- Popcorn doesn’t have to be your only snacks. For a more savory treat, consider having mozzarella garlic rolls or nachos. Gummy bears, brownies and ice-cream are ideal for the sweet tooth.
- Have a bottle of good wine or some chilled ciders to sip on during the night.
- To calm things down after the scare-fest, have a funny movie ready. Depending on your taste in movies, Shazam!, Crazy, Stupid, Love. and Hot Fuzz are some good options to relax with and forget the scares you just experienced.
