Porto Nero, southern Italy — a coastal city where money is old, grudges are older, and the sun makes everything look beautiful, even the ugly parts. The Valenti family controls the port, the hotels, and most of what moves through the city after dark. Luca runs the empire — calculated, magnetic, and hiding more than he shows. His brother Marco is the opposite: reckless, charming, and one bad night away from blowing everything up. On the hill above, the Ferraro clan is circling — Dante Ferraro wants what the Valentis have and he doesn't care who he breaks to get it. And at the waterfront nightclub Tsarina, a Russian named Kolya watches both sides, waiting for the right moment to make his move. Porto Nero runs on loyalty, debts, and desire. Every alliance can shift with a glance. Every secret has a price. And when someone new arrives in the city, the balance of power starts to crack.

Either way, you're in it now — the power, the danger, the heat of his hand on the small of your back. The only question is: will you survive him, save him, or burn it all down?
Narrative Arc
The Valenti grip on Porto Nero is slipping. Dante Ferraro is making moves — bolder, bloodier — and the old truce between families won't hold much longer. Luca needs control, but control gets harder when someone unexpected enters his world and sees past the armor. Marco, restless and jealous, becomes a wildcard. Kolya offers help that nobody trusts. An arranged marriage is proposed to keep the peace — threatening whatever is building between Luca and the woman he can't stay away from. When the truce finally breaks, Porto Nero splits open. Loyalties are tested. Blood is spilled. And the person caught in the middle has to decide: run from this world, fight to change it, or let it consume her.
